Speaking of taking your baby's temperature:

The pediatrician's office will probably appreciate it if you have some idea of what your child's temperature is on any normal day. So, make it a habit for a couple of weeks to take his or her temperature at random times. Get an idea of what the range is for YOUR child, with YOUR thermometer, since temperatures DO vary between thermometers.

So true. Not everyone is 98.6!!
exactly ...my normal has always been 97.1 ....my mother's was 96.8
..so for me when i hit 99.9 i start getting loopy already its odd

and my first ds is the same as me
It's funny...I've been charting my basal body temperature for months now (and still no pregnancy!) and whenever that particular temperature (first thing in the morning) hits 97.1 or above, then I've ovulated, dead giveaway. Pre-ovulation I'm anywhere from 96.0 to 96.9, so I'm with you...99.1 IS a fever... :)
its also good to remember how you take it... i.e. arm pit, rectal, ear...

but this is true! I am usually 97.1 and Robert is usually 99.0 (my 4 1/2 yr old)
Exactly my point. :)
